Parks in Lake of the Woods

All parks within the neighborhood are open from sunrise, to 11:00 PM, that is unless otherwise noted. There are 6 parks in total, including one dog park. Greensprings park includes picnic tables, playgrounds, restrooms and paths for bikers, skaters and walking. Sweetbriar Park includes the sweetbriar pool, a soccer field, playground, picnic table and shelter and the Lion’s pavilion. LOWA members can reserve the pavilion at no additional. Hollyfield park includes a baseball field, Tennis, playground, restrooms, picnic tables and Pickleball. Spotswood park has swings, more picnic tables, charcoal grills, restrooms and a picnic shelter. Keaton’s run is a bit smaller than the other parks, and includes a playground and some picnic tables.

The dog park hours are different than the rest of the parks, being that its open from sunrise to sunset. It’s located near the small Marina at the Life Estates Parcel right off of Lakeview Pkwy. Use of the park is available only to members of the Happy Tails Club. Those wishing to join the club may do so by contacting them directly.
